What Does a Case Knives Sales Specialist Do?

Responsible for providing quality service to customers inquiring about ETH Case Knife products and other areas of the store
Maintain inventory and order necessary items as needed based on orders and forecasted sales
Manages the dedicated case knife website for East Texas Hardware by ensuring information is updated regularly, which includes the listing of available products, vendor M.A.P policies, upcoming events and miscellaneous features available on the site
Work with team to highlight specials, new items and other promotions related to Case knives on social media and outlets
Partner with management to determine appropriate pricing for items
Arrange shipping and provide frequent communication to customers regarding their orders
Provides exceptional customer service by answering customer questions and providing guidance and recommendations regarding products
Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues as necessary
Check incoming items against invoices or orders to spot shortages, damages, backorders and advise store managers
Assist in store or other areas which may include stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise and keeping area neat, clean, and orderly
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
Other tasks as assigned

What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Case Knives Sales Specialist ?

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience and knowledge of Case knives required
Knowledge of pricing related to Case knives
Sales experience highly preferred
Experience with inventory management and ordering preferred
Self-starter, proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
Ability to safely demonstrate and handle knives and provide training on how to utilize features to employees and customers as needed
Proficient with technology and comfortable utilizing systems to maintain inventory, communicate online with customers and vendors, manage website, arrange shipping and research information about products and industry
Ability to stand/walk, reach, bend, twist, and kneel frequently
Ability to occasionally lift 75-100 lbs. with assistance
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and occasional overtime
Results-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best values
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills
