Mitigation Production Manager: A great candidate for this role would have previous mitigation/restoration industry experience supervising production crews and jobs, as well coordinating requirements for production, completing job files, and monitoring jobs from start to finish.
COMPENSATION: $70-$80k plus bonus opportunities!

Summary:

Management of Production Team:

  1. Recruit, hire, train, manage, provide feedback and discipline Production Team members
  2. Assign and coordinate jobs with crews.
  3. Train Production Team on SERVPRO guidelines and quality standards
  4. Provide regular performance feedback to Production Team and conduct annual performance evaluations
  5. Monitor performance of production staff to ensure compliance with SERVPRO standards and policies
  6. Perform as Crew Chief on an interim basis as necessary to ensure job site documentation and progress on projects
  7. Enforce compliance with work rules and standards, including uniform policy
  8. Monitor staff compliance with all payroll and timekeeping requirements and ensure timecards are accurate, complete, and timely submitted to payroll department
  9. Ensure that staff remove equipment and jobsites maintain a clean and orderly appearance

Project Management:

  1. Respond immediately to all calls concerning commercial losses and all calls concerning residential losses within 24 hours
  2. Develop and review job scope to ensure accuracy and clarity
  3. Create project cost estimates by adhering to established pricing schedules and review any alterations or deviations from pricing schedule with Operations Manager or General Manager.
  4. Identify production services, assign time, and materials necessary to develop accurate job estimates
  5. Document, record and submit scope sheets, pictures, and supporting documents into the estimating database
  6. Review job scope, estimate, job diary, and work orders to ensure efficient performance and completion of projects
  7. Coordinate performance of crews and communicate with office staff to ensure that the crews work efficiently
  8. Regularly communicate with crew chief, office staff, Field Operations Manager, and SERVPRO marketing representative.
  9. Monitor projects to ensure that project timelines and production costs are maintained at the agreed-upon completion date and rates established for the project
  10. Manage scheduling of jobs, staff, resources, and crews to meet SERVPRO production standards, guidelines, and deadlines

Financial, Equipment and Asset Management:

  1. Institute safe work practices, damage and cost controls to minimize damage to customer property and reimbursement for these expenses
  2. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure adequate inventory of professional cleaning products and supplies for each job and that there are no cost overruns
  3. Maintain controls over production expenses, ensuring costs are maintained at the established rate.
  4. Ensure that all vehicles, equipment, and facilities are well maintained and in working order

Customer Service:

  1. Resolve customer concerns and complaints; escalate these to the operations manager, general manager, or owner as needed
  2. Maintain a pipeline of new business and solicit business from existing and new customers
  3. Establish rapport and communicate with commercial, insurance, and residential customers on project status and progress
  4. Act as the Company’s representative and manage the Company’s relationships with customers, homeowners, commercial building owners, facility managers, property management companies, insurance agents, adjusters and consultants referred to as “Centers of Influence” (COIs)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in the Restoration Industry
  • 1+ Supervisory/Management experience within the Restoration industry
  • WRT certification required
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning products, cleaning and restoration equipment, and office technology and procedures
  • Knowledge of customer service techniques and practices to build relationships with customers and COIs
  • Knowledge of industry safety and risk management best practices to minimize workplace injuries and damage to property and equipment
  • Knowledge of payroll and timekeeping practices
  • Strong leadership, management and supervision skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and COIs of diverse backgrounds
  • Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Drivers License
