About the role
Our Account Executives work to help insurers and asset owners handle both acute and chronic flood risk, to reduce losses using 7Analytics’ unique solutions. You will be working with company leadership to establish 7Analytics products and services for insurers and asset owners in the North American market.
As a deal-closing Account Executive, you will close revenue through sales initiatives targeted at prospects in the North American market. You will be responsible for:
- Doing deep discovery of the prospective customers current situation to find and extract pain points for their current state
- Expertly guiding the prospect to talk about the potential future state and what our solution unlocks in terms of business value
- Advising prospective customers on our solutions that uniquely aligns with the current state and
- Demonstrating how our products and services are implemented to achieve the prospects desired business outcome
- Closing business with prospective customers
- Working together with our customer success team on product delivery
- Circling back important customer and prospect feedback that is relevant for product development
Qualifications
- You are an entrepreneurial seller. You have been the first seller in the North American market in a prior role, and love to work independently without a large support team
- 5+ years of prior sales experience in a closing role for a B2B SaaS company
- Ability to self-prospect: This is an outbound sales role, so it is important that you’re not afraid to pick up the phone
- Used to working a 6–12-month sales cycle
- Strong track record of achieving or going beyond quarterly sales quotas
- Experience running sales meetings with senior- and C-level executives
Bonus Points
- Experience selling Flood Insurance Solutions
- Interest in or experience working within Flood Insurance
- Knowledge of MEDDICC or similar Sales Methodology
