Children's Therapy Center is seeking a Senior Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager to join our Development and Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Fund Development, this role will support the Annual Fund and lead efforts to develop and implement strategies for maintaining and growing a portfolio of foundation and corporate donors. As the primary relationship manager for these funders, the Senior Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager will oversee a portfolio, generating $600-800K in annual revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor and be responsive to current trends, serving as key liaison and primary relationship manager for external grantors and corporate funders
- Strategizes in the development of a strategic plan to build and maintain relationships within a portfolio of 100-150 corporate and foundation donors and prospects
- Systematically track deadlines and all grantor expectations to ensure reports, applications, proposals, and letters of intent are submitted in a timely manner
- Develop and keep the accurate, ongoing budget of prospective and secured funding opportunities and collaborate with the Director to initiate adjustments in anticipation of rejections and/or in response to the organization's needs
- Write and prepare compelling grant proposals and reports to ensure metrics are trending to meet revenue goals between $600-$800K in annual funding
- Meet regularly with the Director to set yearly fundraising metrics and funding priorities, and review department fundraising metrics goals, and track annual grants calendar
- Coordinate and collaborate to share stories that will influence messaging to be distributed across multiple mediums, including marketing collateral, media, social media, webpages
- Lead stewardship efforts for corporate and foundation funders to include site visits, corporate service days, sponsorship packages, and other external networking events
- Lead retention efforts for corporate and foundation funders with the outlined plan for grant follow-up to understand rejection decisions
- Collaborate across teams and programs to ensure the programs' data, metrics, pictures, and other information, such as participant quotes, are accurate, current, and align with a strength-based language approach
- Foster positive working relationships with the board, volunteers, families, donors, sponsors, and staff.

Demonstrable Experience and Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in non-profit management, public relations, communications, marketing, philanthropic studies or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable fundraising experience, preferably working with institutional donors and corporate and foundation funders; experience in grant writing, communication, or public affairs; and a solid understanding of budgets related to proposals a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high degree of personal initiative.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively using various oral, written, visual, and/or non-verbal skills.
- Effective listening skills, including the ability to recognize, comprehend and appreciate various perspectives and diverse points of view.
- Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to organize work to meet various commitments and responsibilities.

- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite, donor-relations CRM, grant management CRM; proficiency using online databases a plus
- Experience in prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Experience and established relationships with foundations are a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with 3 days minimum in-office expectations, including some evenings, weekends, and tri-county travel as required by the position's responsibilities.

Additional Information
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of three full days per week working onsite (Monday-Friday). The in-office requirement is subject to change to accommodate organizational needs. The primary office is located in Burien, Washington; however, the role involves regular travel between office locations in Burien, Kent, Maple Valley, and Tacoma, as well as throughout South King and Pierce County for meetings and events.
Compensation & Benefits:
Children's Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with job-related experience and education. The salary range for this position is $60,202 - $96,138 per year dependent on related experience and education.
