Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Ensure exceptional guest service by upholding the brand’s high standards for hospitality and attention to detail.
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including sales, labor, and inventory to optimize profitability.
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff members to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Drive execution of company policies and standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Assist in creating strategic initiatives to build and maintain customer loyalty and increase repeat business.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring consistent satisfaction and retention.
- Step in for the General Manager when necessary, taking full responsibility for restaurant operations.
- Participate in brand representation, including community engagement initiatives and special events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or comparable leadership role in a full-service, fine dining, or upscale casual dining environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L analysis and cost management.
- Expertise in training, coaching, and leading teams within a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to stay organized and thrive under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of operation.
- Familiarity with restaurant technology, including POS systems and scheduling software.
- Background in fine dining and a passion for providing elevated dining experiences are strongly preferred.
