A hospital is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage. A psych residency is required. This hospital site does not have an inpatient psychiatric unit but works with area hospitals to transfer patients requiring voluntary and involuntary psychiatric care. In Seattle, Washington, visitors can embark on a culinary adventure in the vibrant Pike Place Market, sampling fresh seafood and artisanal treats. They can also marvel at the iconic Space Needle and enjoy panoramic views of the city from its observation deck. The position is Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing psychiatric consultation in a downtown Emergency Room, medical/surgical floors, and the CCU. Responsibilities include clinical care for boarding patients on involuntary holds (ITA), coordinating with the King County Prosecutor's Office and Superior Court, filing petitions for extended involuntary care, and providing testimony.
