The role involves providing general neurology and acute stroke consultations, along with inpatient neurology coverage at an acute care hospital. The facility is a TJC-certified Stroke Center and a Level II Trauma Center. The facility is located in Redding, CA. The position requires a board-certified Neurologist, ideally with Vascular Neurology training or acute care experience, including thrombolytics and thrombectomy. Onsite coverage is 7 AM to 5 PM for 10-15 days/month, with no night call; telehealth handles after-hours care. EEG interpretation is a plus but not required.
