Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm
The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for St. Mary's residents, staff, and visitors. They are responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas in the Home.

The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for St. Mary's residents, staff, and visitors. They are responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas in the Home.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one (1) year experience working as a floor tech, in environmental services, maintenance, or a related field
- Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Essential Functions include:
- Wet mops bathrooms and wipes off baseboards
- Empties wastepaper baskets/trash cans
- Cleans mirrors
- Polishes or dusts all furniture
- Cleans bathroom fixtures thoroughly
- Vacuums any carpets in assigned area
- Arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion
- Replenishes supplies of soap, toothpaste, etc.
- Keeps utility storage rooms in order
- Checks corners on the ceilings to keep cob webs under control
- Cleans windows and glass doors
- Dusts and cleans all televisions
- Cleans conference rooms, Board Room, lounges, and break room
- Keeps mop buckets clean
- As needed, responds to special cleaning requests from supervisor, Nursing staff or other departments
