Job Description
We are seeking competent, conscientious, service-oriented individuals with strong character to be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, performance management and employment law compliance. This position is directly responsible for coaching managers of the practice divisions conflict resolution and other HR matters. This individual will work under the direction of the CEO or his designee(s).
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of healthcare administration or healthcare management experience serving in the role of Administrator, Practice Manager or Medical Office Manager.
- At least 3 years of corporate office human resource management experience required.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or Human Resources Manager Certification highly preferred.
Role:
- Provides overall leadership of the human resource function by overseeing succession planning, talent acquisition, performance and talent management, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, compliance and regulation.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management. Build relationships with training programs and other organizations to establish a pipeline of internships/rotations and hiring opportunities.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and best practices; reviews and modifies organizational policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices and regulatory changes in human resources, talent management and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management and division management.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, and initiatives that effectively communicate and support the organization's mission.
