Forklift Operator Job at Automation Personnel Services in Dalton

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Forklift Operator for a growing company in Dalton, Ga. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining shipping and receiving a high level of production.

This position is full-time temporary to hire.

$17.00-$19.00p/ hour based on experience

8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday- with optional weekend overtime

5:00pm- 8:00am Monday- Friday- with optional weekend overtime

8:00am-8:00pm 2-day on and 2-day off rotation (must work weekends)

8:00pm-8:00am 2-day on and 2-day off rotation (must work weekends)

• Drive forklift to assist with the movement of materials to be processed

• Operate RF Scanner to ensure the product is placed in proper location

• Loading and unloading trucks, and distribution of material to warehouses or production lines.

• Work closely with shift management and accomplish shift goals.

• Walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

• Regularly lift 50 pounds, up to 75 pounds

• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus.

• Successfully pass forklift assessment

• Minimum five years forklift experience

•Ability to follow oral or written instruction

•Completion of successful background check and drug screen
