We are actively seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join and grow in the PPG organization. Our CNC Programmers support short and long-term projects by producing CNC programs for 2-axis lathes through 5-axis mills.

- Develop and modify programs for CNC mills and lathes
- Prove out and debug NC programs as needed
- Collaborate with engineering to provide CNC programs as needed, utilizing customer specifications, blueprints, and CAD models
- Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists and work instructions
- Design fixtures and develop a quality, reliable machining process while being mindful of project cost and schedule
- Continuously improve new and existing processes
- Provide feedback and solutions to the Engineering and Production team
- Electrode design
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 3+ years of programming and machining experience
- High school diploma required
- Ability to utilize Siemens NX CAD/CAM or Camplete programming software
- Mastercam and SolidWorks experience preferred
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Knowledgeable in cutter selection and modern manufacturing methods
- Comfortable holding tight tolerances on high value parts
- Experience with exotic or high-temp materials
- Experience programming graphite geometry preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and working knowledge of MS Office products
