Were building the first agency of our kind. And were looking for a curious, deliberate, and insightful Account Executive to join us.
The Role
Youre a great fit for this job if youre creativebut purposeful. At our core were storytellers, but clients ask us to apply story to the strategic challenges theyre facing in their business. Wed like to add a team member whos curious, loves engaging directly with our prospects and clients, and can see the potential in a brand to become bigger than it is today.
Were recruiting for an Account Executive. The AE helps lead our business development team to generate new clients for Woden. With an SDR already in-seat and under your wing, youll engage with prospective clients at the executive or founder-level, learn about business pain points, and consult with them on how strategic narrative transform them into an essential brand and help them build an efficient customer journey.
A good AE at Woden has some experience in outbound but is looking to transition into a more full-cycle sales role. Our client development process is highly consultativewell look to you to account plan, develop relationships, help the SDR book new meetings and source some pipeline of your own. Theres additional opportunity to help manage existing clients.
This role has one SDR attached to it to start, but we expect youll be promoted within nine months. Were a small and growing team, and yours will be an impactful voice that drives change, growth, and new ideas at Woden.
Compensation
On-target earnings for this role is $135,000 first yearand we expect you to keep growing from there.
We pay a base salary ($6,100 / month) to help you ramp into the role. Based on previous experience it will take about 120 days to start hitting and beating your OTE number. Weve ramped others into this role before and you have a team around you to help you be successful.
What Youll Do
- Nurture warm leads with relationship-driven and consultative approach over a six-to-eight week sales cycle
- Prospect outreach alongside our SDR, including a mix of cold calling, email, Linkedin, and warm outreach methods
- Build account plansincluding identifying and cultivating buyer committees and cost of inaction analysesand execute them using Hubspot
- Oversee and mentor junior SDR
- Create and send short business analysis videos to warm leads
- Conduct and prepare for introductory/discovery calls and analysis/demo meetings
- Interface with and discuss Woden and the value of strategic narrative with founders and C-level executives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with members of the creative team to generate new opportunities, approaches, and awareness among prospective clients in all stages of sales funnel
What Youll Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience; youve been a BDR and AE
- Experience selling technology, software or complex products/services with C-Suite buyer
- Experience contributing to a consultative sales process
- Youre a strong writer
- You can work within systems and are organized
- You communicate clearly and proactively
- Youre team-driven and thrive off collaboration
- Your self-motivated and want to learn, grow, and succeed in whatever you do
