Job Title: Test Automation Lead – PLM Location: Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX (Remote) Contract or Fulltime both is open Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead with a strong background in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and expertise in Siemens Teamcenter. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. This role requires a hands-on professional with business-facing skills and a commitment to driving quality assurance in PLM implementations. Key Responsibilities: • Lead test automation initiatives for PLM systems, focusing on Siemens Teamcenter. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment of testing strategies. • Develop, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts. • Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business users for successful execution. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on test progress, issues, and results. • Facilitate defect triage meetings and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly. • Identify opportunities for automation within the testing process and implement solutions using tools such as Playwright or Selenium . • Ensure adherence to quality standards and promote continuous improvement practices. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLM systems, with a strong understanding of Siemens Teamcenter. • Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases. • Proven experience in UAT testing and customer interaction. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. • Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration skills. • Good functional knowledge of PLM processes and best practices. • Experience with test automation tools like Playwright or Selenium is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience implementing test automation frameworks. • Understanding of Agile methodologies. • Certification in testing or PLM tools is a bonus.
