Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Commercial Recruiter to join our dedicated recruitment team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for commercial roles across various industries, with a focus on understanding business needs and attracting top talent. This position plays a critical role in supporting our growth and success by ensuring we have the right talent in place to drive our commercial efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Talent Sourcing**: Proactively search for candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
- **Job Analysis and Description**: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specific requirements of commercial roles and create detailed job descriptions that accurately reflect the skills and qualifications needed.
- **Candidate Screening**: Evaluate resumes and applications to identify potential candidates, conducting initial screenings to assess fit with the role and the organization’s culture.
- **Interview Coordination**: Arrange and conduct interviews with candidates, either through phone, video, or in-person formats, and prepare relevant questions to assess their suitability for the position.
- **Candidate Engagement**: Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to provide updates, gather feedback, and keep them engaged.
- **Offer Negotiation**: Work with both the hiring manager and the chosen candidate to negotiate job offers, including salary, benefits, and other terms of employment.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and market competition to provide insights to clients or hiring managers.
- **Relationship Building**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and industry contacts to enhance future recruitment efforts.
- **Onboarding Support**: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization and facilitating necessary training or introductions.
- **Reporting and Metrics Analysis**: Track recruitment metrics and provide reports on hiring activities, candidate pipelines, and other relevant data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- **Diversity and Inclusion Focus**: Promote diversity in hiring practices, ensuring that recruitment efforts reach a wide range of candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Seek feedback on the recruitment process from candidates and hiring managers to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- **Compliance and Best Practices**: Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM) preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on commercial roles in [specific industry, e.g., retail, sales, marketing].
- Proven knowledge of talent sourcing techniques and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Exceptional interviewing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret recruitment metrics.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
