We are looking for a Vice President, Marketing to develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans for the Bank that will attract potential customers, retain existing customers, support product launches, increase brand awareness, relevance, and desirability, and support community outreach efforts. You will play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the Bank's strategic goals, as well as driving the Bank's growth and enhancing our customers' experience. How you will accomplish this: Lead and manage direct marketing, public relations, advertising, online marketing, social media, event marketing, and internal creative services. Direct the efforts of Marketing staff and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels across departments. Be responsible for the department's goals and financial objectives. Work closely with senior leaders in determining market trends and to create demand and recognition for the Bank's products and services. Plan, develop and implement strategic marketing plans, marketing communications, and public relations activities. Engage in market research to identify new customer demographics and market opportunities including recognizing CRA activities; make recommendations for new products and enhancing existing products. Stay at the forefront of trends in small business banking and digital innovation to capture emerging markets. Be responsible for editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of all publications and collateral materials; work closely with Compliance to ensure proper regulatory requirements and disclosures. Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the department and its activities, including CRA efforts and activities; monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluate performance. Create and ensure that the Bank is communicating the correct messaging to attract prospective customers in specific groups and retain existing customers. Manage oversight of the Bank's social media platforms; create engaging, visually appealing, and brand-consistent content to drive audience engagement and increase followers. Update and maintain the company website to ensure content is current, accurate, and enhances the user experience and functionality. Serve as Chair of the Marketing Committee. Manage Marketing personnel; mentor and coach Marketing and other personnel. Monitor and report on the success of individual campaigns using Google Analytics. Have a deep understanding of the Bank's competition and constant pursuit of discovering a competitive advantage; prepare and present competitive analyses. Support Bank outreach efforts through community involvement; manage, organize and/or assist with the implementation of special events. What you will bring to the role: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or similar area of study. 7+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations preferably in banking. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and online search engines. Exceptional communication skills. Proficiency with Google Analytics and website design. Technologically savvy - knowledge of/familiarity with Wordpress, Looker dashboard, Canva, Loomly, Watchfire, Inlighten, WC3, SendinBlue/Brevo. Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies. Ability to write correspondence, marketing copy, social media entries, and reports with the correct use of grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Work both in a team environment and independently; take direction from multiple team members. Effectively present information to groups of people. Independent decision-making and accountability. Manage people and prioritize work and deadlines. Manage budgets and analyze marketing performance data. #J-18808-Ljbffr
