Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Office Clerk for a contract opportunity for 2-3 months. This role is ideal for a self-starter with an artistic background who is comfortable working independently. The successful candidate will handle a variety of office tasks, including mail and package management, customer service, and light clerical work. There may also be a need for assistance with vinyl cutting and lettering projects, especially for those with an interest or experience in design-related tasks. Hours: 25 hours a week, client is flexible with hours, ideally would like someone 3 days a week. Pay: $20-22 Key Responsibilities: Mail Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Customer Service: Answer phones, take messages, and assist tenants or visitors who may walk into the office, including taking names and contact information as needed. Clerical Support: Perform light office tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing office materials. Vinyl Cutting and Lettering (if applicable): Assist with printing and applying vinyl lettering to acrylic, using a Vevor cutting machine or similar equipment. This involves 'weeding' (removing excess vinyl) and applying the vinyl to pre-designed graphics. Package Management: Occasionally receive deliveries and coordinate with vendors or shipping partners. Office Presence: Maintain a professional office environment and be available to handle various office needs, including answering phones or receiving deliveries. Skills and Qualifications: Customer Service: Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent phone and in-person communication skills. Artistic Background (Preferred): While no graphic design experience is required, an artistic background or interest in design is preferred. Experience with vinyl cutting or similar equipment is a plus. Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy. Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively in a quiet office environment.
