We are seeking a skilled PCB Assembly Technician/Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing systems, including pick-and-place machinery, reflow ovens, 3D AOI, and X-ray inspections. This full-time role involves maintaining and optimizing PCB assembly processes in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.

Description

  • Operate, program, and maintain SMT manufacturing systems, including pick-and-place machinery, screen printers, and reflow ovens.
  • Conduct setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of 3D AOI systems for defect detection.
  • Perform X-ray inspections for fine-pitch and BGA components to ensure quality standards.
  • Oversee PCBA washing processes and stations, ensuring proper cleanliness for assembly.
  • Conduct visual inspections and execute repair work to meet industry standards.
  • Work with fine-pitch and BGA components, ensuring precise assembly and placement.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address defects and improve processes.
  • Document processes and provide feedback to enhance equipment utilization and efficiency.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PCB assembly and SMT manufacturing systems.
  • Proficiency with SMT equipment: pick-and-place machinery, screen printers, reflow ovens, and AOI systems.
  • Hands-on experience with X-ray inspection tools and processes.
  • Strong understanding of fine-pitch, BGA components, and PCBA washing techniques.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for machinery and process issues.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced, high-mix/low-volume production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
