Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven

Sales Executive

with a proven track record of securing new business in technology and technology-enabled solutions for the capital markets. The successful candidate will focus on selling Exegy's market data and trading infrastructure solutions to new logo clients, including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and active traders globally. This role requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and the ability to leverage Exegy's full suite of offerings to develop and execute a global sales strategy. Collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams will be essential to driving success.

Responsibilities Develop and manage a global pipeline of new logo opportunities Articulate how Exegy's offerings deliver unique and compelling business value to prospective clients Close deals that align with the goals of both Exegy and the client, ensuring mutual benefit Lead negotiations on terms and conditions for agreements Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations Collaborate with internal sales, account teams, and other business units to ensure alignment and success Maintain accurate and reliable sales forecasts Conduct in-depth account research to identify opportunities that align with the strategic initiatives of new logo targets Stay up-to-date on all Exegy products, solutions, and industry developments Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to internal stakeholders Manage individual expense budgets within policy guidelines Our Ideal Candidate Has:

Experience:

5-10 years of experience in new logo sales roles, ideally within the financial services or technology sectors Education:

Bachelor's Degree required Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of capital markets trading and market data business models and workflows Familiarity with electronic trading applications and solutions

Sales Skills:

Proven ability to execute a structured targeting and prospecting approach to identify and develop new opportunities Expertise in rigorous qualification processes throughout the sales cycle Exceptional ability to position business value and outcomes for executive-level buyers Adept at navigating complex buying decision-making processes Strong interpersonal communication skills to secure commitments from buyers at all organizational levels Ability to create and execute detailed, effective close plans Skilled at addressing objections in a way that builds trust and confidence Proficient in value-driven negotiation strategies
