Grizzly Iron Inc. is hiring: Gate And Railing Installer in Phoenix

We’re looking for an experienced ornamental iron installer with a high work ethic, a history of consistent attendance, and great physical strength and stamina to join our team. You’ll work under our field manager’s direction, alongside a close-knit team of other skilled welders and installers, to make our customer's ornamental iron dreams come true.

We install residential ironwork such as gates, railings, fencing, and other decorative metal components. We commonly work in multi-million dollar homes and every day is different with a new challenge.

The candidate will have previous construction experience, have a professional demeanor, and have knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. If you’re ready to challenge yourself with different opportunities each day, apply now!

$18 - $25 hourly

• Adhere to all directions from the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately
• Meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements by removing debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean
• Load, unload, and transfer tools and building materials such as lumber, tile, saws, sheetrock, grout, etc.
• Run hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as required

• Loading and preparing for installation each day
• Driving to and from job sites
• Installing gates, railings, fence, and other misc items
• Preparing the location for upcoming installations
• Measuring to relay information for the shop to build
• Templating on-site for fabricators in the shop
• Daily clean up and organization of job sites and trucks

• Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required
• Equivalent, GED, or high school diploma is required - Associate’s degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred
• This position relies on physical strength and stamina
• Carry a valid driver's license
• Comfortable working in inclement weather, like extreme temperatures, rain, etc.
