As a Qualcomm AI Systems Solution Architect, you will develop leading-edge products and solutions around best-in-class Qualcomm high-performance inference accelerators for cloud, edge and hybrid AI applications. In this leadership role, you will be engaged with key customers and internal hardware and software teams, product and project management, business development leads and other key stakeholders/executives and partners to drive overall system solutions. This covers a broad range of technical tasks, starting from industry leading and customer specific use cases, a spectrum of technologies to define AI/ML system solutions, ML models (including GenAI/LLMs) and optimization and efficient and scalable deployment on inference accelerators. Qualcomm AI Systems engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. Additional Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Physics or related field. 10+ years of industry experience in systems engineering. 5+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning workloads and tasks including computer vision, natural language processing and large language models. Detailed understanding of AI edge and server systems, infrastructure and industry standards. Leadership experience on projects from architecture, development, design, deployment to production. Ability to operate in a matrix environment across engineering disciplines and geographies to drive and deliver excellent results. Experience with development and deployment of scalable GenAI inference solutions on dedicated HW accelerators. Prior experience directly working with customers from early stage of R&D to production, ecosystem development. Skillful in scoping out future generations of products and solutions by collaborating with internal HW and SW teams and external customers. Knowledgeable about the latest advancements in GenAI hardware and software tools and solutions and latest tech trends in the LLM fields. Hands-on experience and necessary software skills to develop both prototype and production quality solutions. Strong problem solving skills and customer focus. Strong programming skills, especially in Python and debugging skills. Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills. Track record of diverse and creative projects. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Architect and implement (with a team) AI/ML solutions that bring together Qualcomm AI hardware products, technologies, software, and ecosystem and provide best-in-class performance, power efficiency and scalability. Apply systems knowledge and experience to research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, AI hardware, architecture, deep learning algorithms, and machine learning solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met. Develop and analyze system level design including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Work with multi-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, performance engineers, and AI researchers to deliver best system solutions and to align ML strategies. Collaborate with own team and other teams to complete project work, including implementing and testing features and verifying the accuracy of systems. Develop new and innovative ideas (e.g. IDFs) for a product or feature area. Drive triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to team members. Foster partnership with key customers. Engage with end customers such as CSPs, enterprises, OEMs, ML system and software companies to understand ML use-cases, requirements, and opportunities for Arm. Keep abreast with the latest advancements in the AI/ML space (models, HW/SW), competitive analysis and drive innovative solutions.
