This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Cybersecurity Operations Division. As an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will be a technical staff member for the agency providing the research, recommendation, development, maintenance, and update to the Bureau's cybersecurity, privacy and records management; and guidance in the assessment of IT security and the development of long-range plans to ensure the adequacy of and compliance with policies.

Qualifications: You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Participating in the development of security implementations affecting information technology security throughout an organization. Identifying and monitoring risks and vulnerabilities in system development, operations, and management methods. Developing policies, procedures and technologies to minimize risks and vulnerabilities. Developing, implementing, and administering security technologies and solutions. Developing audit plans, and conducting audits, vulnerability and risk analyses and evaluating the adequacy of management, operational and technical controls to provide information assurance. Isolating and defining unprecedented conditions of risk and vulnerability affecting network security throughout an organization. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail:
Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service:
Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication:
