Chief Financial Officer The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and provide strategic financial leadership and vision. This role is responsible for overseeing the company's financial health, driving financial strategies, improving financial operations, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The CFO will also be responsible for overseeing the relationships with the companys financial partners including investors, lenders, and project level partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the companys financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve profitability. Design, implement, and lead the financing initiatives of the company ranging from our lenders to off balance sheet land development partnerships. Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Analyze financial performance and trends, identifying areas for improvement or risk mitigation. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and lenders. Operational Management: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and treasury functions. Ensure efficient cash flow management, including monitoring liquidity and working capital. Manage debt utilization for funding of construction and development while adhering to covenants and internal guidelines Lead efforts to optimize cost structures and enhance operational efficiency. Risk Management and Compliance: Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial partners. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Implement systems and tools to improve team productivity and data accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred). Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in a senior financial leadership role. Strong knowledge of corporate financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting. Familiarity with homebuilding, including key metrics and regulations, is a positive Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Sage, Excel, QuickBooks). Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. High integrity and commitment to ethical financial management.
