The Marketplace Director, reporting to the CEO will be responsible for a highly matrixed team with shared goals across the areas of Sales Support, Digital Marketing, A/R and Analytics. This manager will drive specific work across these functions. Wilmar are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketplace Manager to oversee our brand’s presence on Amazon and Walmart. This role will involve managing all aspects of our e-commerce operations on these platforms, from strategy and execution to analytics and optimization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in e-commerce, understands the nuances of both marketplaces, and has a track record of building and growing brands online. The

Wilmar Marketplace Director

is responsible for driving sales growth through a well-defined e-commerce brand strategy by developing and executing plans to boost performance on Amazon Seller and Vendor Central, as well as Walmart.com. This includes optimizing product listings and placements for maximum visibility and sales. Develop and implement strategies for product placement, pricing, and promotions across e-commerce platforms to enhance visibility and drive sales growth. Identify and evaluate new marketplace opportunities that align with company objectives and product offerings. Brand Building & Optimization: Lead initiatives to build brand presence on Amazon and Walmart through enhanced content, A+ Content, brand stores, and other marketplace tools. Develop and execute strategies for product launches, brand campaigns, and promotions to increase customer engagement and retention. Use data-driven insights to enhance product offerings, identify trends, and refine brand positioning within each marketplace. Product Listing and Optimization Oversee product listings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with marketplace guidelines. Ensure all listings comply with marketplace rules, including tax policies and product restrictions. Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers to stay informed about new features and opportunities. Collaborate with digital marketing and product teams to optimize product titles, descriptions, and images, ensuring listings feature high-quality content, SEO keywords, and competitive pricing to maximize search visibility and conversion rates. Sales and Performance Analysis Regularly analyze key performance metrics, including conversion rates, sales trends, and customer reviews, to make data-driven decisions that achieve sales targets and improve ROI. Conduct competitive analysis to monitor competitor activity and market trends on Amazon and Walmart, adjusting strategies as needed to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate threats. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory levels, prevent stockouts, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Collaborate with customer service to resolve issues related to shipping, returns, and refunds. Marketing and Advertising Oversee and optimize advertising campaigns on Amazon and Walmart, including Sponsored Ads, DSP, and other relevant ad platforms, to drive traffic and increase sales. Analyze campaign effectiveness to adjust ad spending and improve ROI. Manage third-party vendor activities that support account management and advertising efforts. Requirements

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, E-commerce, or related field. 3+ years of experience managing marketplaces, with a strong track record in brand building and growth. Proven expertise in various Marketplace, including listing management, advertising, and analytics. Strong analytical skills and experience with e-commerce analytics tools; proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets. Excellent understanding of e-commerce SEO, PPC, and content strategies. Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, in a matrix environment, handle multiple projects, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with other marketplaces and e-commerce platforms. Experience with data analytics tools such as Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout. Previous experience with direct-to-consumer brand growth and customer engagement strategies.
