Advancement Manager

Seeking a passionate, conscientious professional with prior experience in Nonprofit Development. The Advancement Manager will oversee the execution of agency events, including catering, location, transportation, and personnel while complying with all federal, state, and local legislation. They will lead the negotiation of event contracts and service agreements to secure the best combination of quality and cost. They will implement strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to grow revenue from online giving campaigns, including social media, crowdfunding, and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, and present reports and outcomes to improve future events and campaigns. The Advancement Manager will serve as the agency liaison to the Emerging Leaders Auxiliary Board (ELAB), and the Emeritus Advisory Board, oversee all corporate volunteer projects, and conduct agency tours. This position pays $66,648 annually, and offers medical, vision, dental, paid time off, 401K and other voluntary benefits.
Position Highlights
1. Manage the logistics of agency events, as well as develop goals and strategies. Build relationships with vendors while looking for the best combination of quality and cost. Present reports and outcomes to determine how future events could improve by including a post-event guest survey for attendees. 2. Serve as the liaison for the Emerging Leaders Auxiliary Board (ELAB), by interviewing potential members, orienting new members, scheduling regular meetings, providing agendas for meetings, and assisting each member in reaching their fundraising goals. 3. Execute and coordinate all aspects of the volunteer program, including onboarding, developing goals, facilitating evaluations, and tracking activities and donations. 4. Under the guidance of the Director of Advancement and in collaboration with the Community Partnership Coordinator, develops and fosters relationships with institutional funders, and provides stewardship for existing grantors. 5. In collaboration with the marketing department, create and implement efforts to publicize events and promote sponsorships through social media advertising, graphics, press releases, agency announcements, and promotional materials. 6. Execute fundraising campaigns, from developing goals and strategies to achieving revenue goals. Interact with new potential members, corporate volunteer groups, current/prospective donors, etc. 7. Works on other Adhoc projects as assigned by the Director of Advancement.
