Senior Software Test Engineer

Hours: First Shift (Mon - Fri)
Responsibilities: Verify software data elements for antimicrobial assays and diagnostic products in clinical software. Write and maintain test protocols, verification reports, and test results. Set up and configure computers and instruments to execute test protocols and confirm product/data requirements. Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, biostatisticians, microbiologists, and other stakeholders. Validate and verify data tools interfacing with Beckman's LIMS systems. Develop and update test activities, leveraging existing modules and protocols to enhance testing efficiency. Identify and implement streamlined or automated testing approaches. Work independently within a cross-functional team to acquire proficiency in antimicrobial assays and their software systems integration. Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Software Engineering, or Data Science. 2+ years of experience in tools validation and verification for non-product software integration OR 2+ years in software verification testing, preferably in the medical device industry. 3+ years of Python scripting experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with LIMS systems. Knowledge of FDA Design Controls for medical devices. Understanding of software testing best practices. Experience with clinical microbiology and antimicrobial agents (e.g., antibiotics like Penicillin). Background in DevOps. Proficiency with HP-ALM or similar test management systems. Key Attributes:
