Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with a minimum of 5 years in a legal environment, ideally with a blend of litigation and transactional experience. The successful candidate will be proficient in iManage and Office 365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and possess a strong understanding of filing procedures for both state and federal courts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Prepare and file legal documents in compliance with state and federal court rules.
- Maintain and organize case files using iManage.
- Edit correspondence, pleadings, and transactional documents with precision.
- Assist in both litigation and transactional matters, including research and document management.
- Manage billing and timekeeping records accurately.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal secretary, with a focus on both litigation and transactional work.
- Proficient in iManage and Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including advanced table functions.
- Strong knowledge of filing procedures for predominantly state courts.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
