Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: Complexity Intervention Unit
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week, 7 PM - 7 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Experience: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment are required. Experience in medical and psych units is beneficial.
License: Requires current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Certifications: Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must-Have:
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through education at an accredited School of Nursing. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing is highly desired. - Clinical competence and experience in targeted patient care management. - Fluency in English (Speak, Read, Write).
Job Description:
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an assigned group of patients in an inpatient environment. - Demonstrates competency in delivery of care primarily to an adult population. - Adheres to ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. - Provides health promotion, maintenance, and restorative care. - Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated approaches to care. - Manages patient ratios efficiently with a standard 4:1 patient ratio. - Complies with all regulatory requirements and protocols. - Utilizes critical thinking and clinical judgment to enhance patient outcomes.
