Our client, a world leading cannabis company based in Manhattan, is looking for an AP Specialist. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate will be immediately available to start a new role.

Well known cannabis company based in Manhattan. This role offers fully remote flexibility and potential for FTE within 6 months.
Description
This role will involve:
Assemble, review, and verify invoices and wire requests
Sort, code and match invoices and purchase orders
Work with purchasing managers and other regional personnel on location
Perform vendor reconciliations as needed
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Maintain accurate vendor files
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Reconcile bank statements
Travel & Entertainment processing and review
Profile The successful candidate will have: 3-5+ years of experience directly in accounts payable or otherwise similar role General knowledge of accounting procedures related to accounts payable, T&E, and treasury functions Familiarity with inventory purchasing, payments, vendor reconciliations and related accounting Prior experience in a Company with retail and/or wholesale operations Experience/knowledge in relevant accounting software Ability to both work independently as well as in a group Bright, quick learner, self-motivated Effective verbal and written communication skills. Customer service driven. Solution oriented when problem solving.
