Job Description Facility in Rhode Island is looking for experienced ICU RN travelers to start ASAP. Candidates must have at least 2-3 years experience, preferably Level II or higher Trauma, including some MedSurg/Tele, along with current RI license. Required certifications are ACLS, BLS. Unit Details
Unit Description Combined ICU with mostly medical and cardiac patients. Occasional surgical patient. No vascular, Cardiovascular or neuro surgeries. The hospital does have a STEMI program so the unit does have an occasional IABP. Most common diagnosis is sepsis. As above we do have a interventional cath lab, so STEMI, IABP, EKOS, PA lines (occasional). 14 total beds but ADC is 8. Winter tends to have higher census. N : P ratio goal is 2:1 with IABP patients being 1:1 Float possible to PUC, but not very often.
