Licensed School Nurse (2024-25)
Job Details: Care for student health, injuries, and/or illnesses in an expedient manner Provide direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions, including administering medications, treatments, and first aid as necessary. Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health concerns and develop appropriate care plans. Participate in planning and implementation of 504 plans, special education evaluations, and Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
Requirements: Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state required Certification as a Licensed School Nurse (LSN) or willingness to obtain prior to the start of the school year required Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required Experience working as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing preferred Must be certified in CPR and First Aid Ability to maintain confidentiality
