We are seeking a talented and motivated

Employee Benefits Associate Attorney

with

2 years of experience

to join our growing Employee Benefits practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits law, including ERISA, health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and other employee compensation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled attorney to contribute to the success of our clients while advancing their legal career in a supportive and dynamic team environment. Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel to clients on a wide range of employee benefits issues, including retirement plans (401(k), pension plans), health and welfare plans, executive compensation, and related matters. Draft and review plan documents, amendments, and policies for compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, and other federal and state regulations. Assist clients with the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit plans. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay current with employee benefits law, regulations, and trends. Represent clients in dealings with government agencies, such as the Department of Labor, IRS, and PBGC. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals in the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients. Provide training and legal guidance to clients on regulatory compliance, fiduciary duties, and other employee benefits topics. Prepare and review legal opinions, memoranda, and presentations for clients.

Desired Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school. 2 years

of experience in employee benefits law, including substantial knowledge of ERISA, pension, welfare, and executive compensation plans. Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing employee benefit plans, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and IRS guidelines. Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong client relationship skills and a desire to provide high-quality service. Admission to the state bar in Kansas, Missouri is a plus! of ERISA litigation and experience representing clients in disputes before regulatory agencies.
