Description
Lead and support the development of innovative manufacturing processes and technologies. Define and develop manufacturing processes for small batch custom materials/parts. Manage critical projects, including capital projects, equipment installations, and upgrades. Develop, enhance, and implement robust production methods and business processes. Apply engineering principles and statistical methods to improve existing processes. Partner with Quality Assurance to monitor yields and implement continuous improvement programs. Evaluate, implement, and support automated inspection systems and equipment. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and specifications. Provide technical sales support and help resolve customer issues. Oversee and guide the work of team members, supporting their professional development. Provide hands-on technical support on the manufacturing floor. Collaborate with design and mechanical engineers to create, build, and implement manufacturing fixtures.
