Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/20/2025 Duration: 7 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: X-ray Technician Location: Atlanta, GA Shift: 8HR Days Mon thru Fri (7:30am to 4:00pm) POS. 1378/1380 SUMMARY Primary responsibility of the Radiology Technologist is to perform radiographic imaging studies for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients and to assist the Radiologist in performing various radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of JRCERT approved Radiography program Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Ability to operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment X-ray tech comfortable working OR, ED, inpatient and portables. Must be willing to learn peds and neonates Minimum 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility. Evaluates images for technical quality. EMR: EPIC and Sectra Equipment: Client, Phillips and CareStream. Assigned to a department by day but expected to float if needed.
