Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology Job Duration: Full-time Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a level 1 trauma setting or 2-3 years in a large bed trauma level 2 facility License: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program Job Description: - Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment efficiently. - Evaluate images for technical quality. - Comfortable working in the operating room, emergency department, inpatient setting, and with portable equipment. - Willingness to learn and work with pediatric and neonatal patients. - Utilize EMR systems including EPIC and Sectra. - Work with GE, Phillips, and CareStream equipment. - Assigned to a specific department daily but must be flexible to float as needed. - Collaborate with and mentor students, including performing competency check-offs.
