Our dedication to quality is reflected in our accomplishment of being awarded multiple ISO 9001:2015 certifications.About this Position / ResponsibilitiesNFF, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Server Patching Administrator for one our premier customers in DC. The Server Patching Administrator will be responsible for server OS patch deployment as well as patching standards and process to maintain server health across the enterprise environment. RequirementsResponsible for server OS patch deployment as well as patching standards and process to maintain server health across the enterprise environment.Coordinating with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT staff to ensure smooth patch deploymentEvaluating patches before installation to ensure compatibility with existing systems.Monitoring server performance and addressing any issues that arise during or after patching.Interface with the Security, Application, Infrastructure and ITSM teams to coordinate Windows/Linux/Unix patching deployments.Create and maintain operational procedures as needed to ensure patching success rates and will be the main point of communication for security patching.Interface with customers and management to conduct reviews and provide reporting on patching status and any trends seen to help improve the health of the environment.QualificationsQualificationsRequired 8+ years’ experience with advanced Server system administration, operational support, and problem resolution for a mixed Windows/Linux/Unix Server environmentsRequired 8+ years’ system administration experience and knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and administration of virtual serversRequired 8+ years’ server Patching and Software deployment experience through Tanium, SCCM, Intune, Ivanti or similar toolsRequired 8+ years’ experience with break/fix support for Server OS and third-party application issues including PowerShell scriptingRequired11+ years of professional work experience if they have a Bachelor's Degree (15 years if they only have a high school diploma).BS Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent experienceNFF DisclosuresNFF offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and flexible paid time off options, for eligible employees:Medical, Dental and Vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending AccountSTD, LTD, Supplemental life insurance and ADD&DComprehensive 401k planPaid Time OffNFF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Important Notice: All NFF communications come from @nffinc.com Emails from other domains claiming to be NFF are likely scams.
