Unlike a typical engineer role, this role requires you to work independently on a diverse set of smaller projects, create proof of concepts, and quickly iterate on them to deliver mature solutions. Our ideal candidate has a software development and education background and is interested in designing, delivering and owning self-contained customer-facing solutions while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including trainers, content developers and platform engineering teams. What You'll DoDesign and implement frontend changes to LMS & learning tools to maintain proper branding & innovative front end experienceIntegrate LMS with internal and third-party services and systems to enable the team to deliver impactful learning experiences and hands-on exercisesWork on an integrated team with content specialists, trainers, customer success members, and operational project team members to design and develop self-contained training solutions supporting classroom and online learning environmentsWork with the team to establish and manage internal development processes and pipelinesAct as an advisor and subject matter expert on APIs during new learning content developmentAbout You3-5 years minimum experience in software developmentExperience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScriptExperience working with Node.js, GitHub RDBMSs and system integrationExperience with Postman and AWS (EC2, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda) is a plusExperience with EdTech is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEnjoy coordinating with other engineering teams to deliver solutionsHighly organized, with proven ability to work autonomously and deliver projects on timeOur ValuesAt Postman, we create with the same curiosity that we see in our users. We are dedicated to delivering the best products we can.What Else?This role is based remotely in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $180,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
