Position Summary
We are currently hiring a Recruiter/HR Specialist to join the People & Culture team and help the organization hire top talent in a timely and efficient manner while promoting diverse & inclusive hiring practices. Youll spend your time engaging top talent in the market and getting them excited about the work we do. Youll rely on traditional and non-traditional methods to identify candidates. Youll manage the end-to-end recruiting process along with general HR duties. This position reports directly to the VP of People & Culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Recruiting
- Responsible for all Company recruiting efforts
- Responsible for establishing recruiting requirements for each open position
- Review job description and/or create new description with manager to define position requirements
- Compose and post internal / external job postings
- Track all applicants in Workday
- Use multiple avenues for sourcing candidates
- Create and maintain phone, in-person, and prescreen questions
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, verifying references, scheduling qualified applicants with appropriate manager
- Prepare Offer Packet including all new hire paperwork
- Employment letter
- Background check
- Benefit packet
- Other employee related information to ensure legal compliance (e.g., i9)
- Sets appointment for onboarding with employee and coordinates with Learning & Development for training and HR Admin Assistant to collect / verify New Hire documents are complete
- Compiles information and sends KPI and New Hire report to Finance and HR management weekly
HR
- Research market data for annual compensation benchmarking
- Oversee the development, maintenance and updates of all job descriptions and classifications
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 3-5 years recruiting experience
- Successful work history in handling confidential personal data
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong team player and commitment to promoting Company values
- Ability to multi-task and produce results in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position which requires in office reporting to Anchors Thousand Oaks office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote work is optional Monday and Friday. Hours are 8am-5pm.
Compensation
The base pay for this position is $95,000, plus performance-based bonus.
