Our client is a reputable investment management firm. They are currently looking to hire an experienced HR Generalist. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong HR Generalist to join a well-known company!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k + 15% Bonus

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will work on HR tasks across functional areas but will primarily focus on employee relations and investigations. This HR Generalist must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed. This HR Generalist will have opportunities for growth down the line!

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  • Address employee inquiries and concerns, escalating as needed.
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations and performance issues.
  • Assist with employee terminations and documentation.
  • Provide advice on company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure policies and processes are up-to-date and clearly communicated.
  • Build relationships to understand organizational needs.
  • Acquire knowledge of company benefits, payroll, and recruitment functions.
  • Oversee and complete annual compensation surveys.
  • Support annual compensation reviews and talent management initiatives.
  • Develop communications to educate employees on their roles and compliance.
  • Cultivate external networking connections within HR and related fields.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and safeguard confidential information.
  • Research and update HR practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and proper storage of information.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.


Qualifications for the HR Generalist:

  • 5+ years of well-rounded HR experience.
  • Strong employee relations experience including investigations and terminations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and manage senior management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong team player and willingness to help in various areas of HR.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required.
