GDIT is excited to support the SEC as it operates, manages, and advances its IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team is seeking bright, energetic, and talented individuals to join us in bringing innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to the SEC.
We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Enterprise Program Governance Lead in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Candidates must be US Citizens (without dual citizenship) and able to obtain Public Trust clearance, per contract requirements.
Position Duties:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and accountability of the enterprise projects related to IT Service Management.
- Lead program governance activities including review, investigation, and hosting service improvements, issues, and risk review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with program quality assurance and control requirements.
- Conduct risk and issue assessments and report trends.
- Assist with developing the monthly governance agenda.
- Support the enterprise communications plan.
- Supervise all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Define project scope and objectives.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conduct project meetings and track project progress.
- Oversee all aspects of project oversight and risk mitigation.
- Lead all internal and customer briefings for assigned projects.
Required Experience:
- At least 8 years of related experience leading and managing IT projects, specializing in IT infrastructure and operations, including service delivery, IT infrastructure systems, and solution development.
- PMP Certification is required.
- This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
- Direct experience supporting federal government agencies is required.
- Required areas of expertise include Change Management, Quality Control, & Governance Oversight.
- Extensive experience creating and managing multiple concurrent project plans.
- Strong experience in Problem Management, Business Process Management, Organizational Change, and Communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated history leading both internal and customer briefings, with the ability to communicate ideas, project plans, risk strategy, and status updates clearly and concisely.
- Experience briefing senior government leadership in both written documentation and direct briefing meetings.
The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation; salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
