We are seeking an industry-leading Senior Product Manager Technical to drive the roadmap for our Print on Demand Ingestion Experience that enables authors and publishers to submit their book files and metadata for publishing in multiple formats worldwide, allowing them to reach more readers. As the Sr. Product Manager- Tech, you’ll define and deliver the customer experience, partnering closely with software, big data, AI/ML, operations, and user experience teams to deliver the best experience for our internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent product, problem-solving, and communication skills and be able to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate will be at ease dealing with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, be motivated by a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives while staying on top of tactical execution, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, definition, and WW delivery of our Ingestion roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, science, product management, UX design, operations, and business stakeholders, to define and execute a product roadmap.
  • Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences. Write narratives, PR/FAQs, and other strategic documents.
  • Work backwards from our customers and collaborate with the design team to leverage customer feedback, metrics, and data and refine UI and UX. Translate insights into actionable design improvements for an optimal user experience.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze metrics to measure impact, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
