The Commercial Litigation group is an integral part of the firm's litigation practice, representing clients across a range of industries in complex commercial disputes.

In this position, you will:

  • Manage all phases of commercial litigation, including case work-up and trial preparation.
  • Draft and review pleadings, discovery documents, and motions.
  • Conduct depositions, prepare for hearings, and participate in court appearances.
  • Handle settlement negotiations and collaborate with clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Work closely with a dynamic team of attorneys to deliver exceptional results for clients.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this Commercial Disputes Associate role is a skilled legal professional with a strong foundation in commercial litigation.

Key attributes of the ideal candidate include:

  • Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with proficiency in handling all aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
  • Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active Pennsylvania Bar membership in good standing.
  • Legal Acumen: Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidentiary rules, and complex commercial disputes.
  • Research and Drafting: Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with a proven ability to draft persuasive pleadings and motions.
  • Oral Advocacy: Ability to argue motions, conduct depositions, and present cases effectively in court.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop innovative litigation strategies.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple responsibilities.
