Position Overview

As the Regional Sales Manager for the Rocky Mountain Region, you will be responsible for both expanding and deepening the use of Contura Vet's hydrogel within existing accounts, as well as driving new customer acquisition. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our veterinary technical services team to ensure successful adoption of our product. Your focus will be on selling effectively, building relationships, education, and achieving growth in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute actionable sales strategies to expand both new and existing customer accounts, driving adoption of Contura Vets 2.5% polyacrylamide hydrogel.

Work closely with the technical veterinary services team to provide comprehensive support to veterinary practices, ensuring optimal product use.

Conduct regular sales visits to veterinary practices, universities, and key stakeholders to achieve sales quotas and KPIs.

Deliver technical presentations to small and large audiences, both in person and virtually, with a focus on clear communication and impactful education.

Collaborate with distributor partners, maintaining and strengthening relationships to support sales goals.

Actively prospect and close new business while growing market penetration within your territory.

Participate in local, regional, and national industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Manage the territory with minimal supervision, consistently delivering results with a high level of efficiency.

Perform additional duties related to equine and canine territory management as needed.

Requirements

Must reside in Colorado.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (50% overnight travel, 75% field-based role).

In depth understanding of equine joint anatomy and function, osteoarthritis, and common related conditions such as lameness and metabolic disorders.

Strong consultative selling skills with proven sales performance in animal health, demonstrating the ability to sell effectively.

Ability to deliver technical presentations confidently to various audience sizes, with excellent presentation and communication skills.

Proficiency in using a CRM such as Salesforce for managing accounts and tracking sales activities.

Ability to create and execute detailed territory business plans, including effective territory routing and account management strategies.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.

Self-starter, capable of working independently and achieving set goals with minimal supervision.

Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a commitment to driving meaningful change in the veterinary industry.

Bachelors degree and 3 years of relevant sales experience.
