Title:Senior Design Engineer-Air compressor(500354) Location: 13600 Industrial Park Blvd. Minneapolis, Minnesota 55441 Type: Full Time Client: LTTS Job Description & Skill Requirement: Job Role expectations: Onsite Coordinator for multiple design Projects in Air Compressors for HVAC applications. • New Product Design & development of Compressors subsystems. (Preferred experience in Rotating Equipment design & development) • Design Calculations as per ASME standards. • DFMEA, Risk analysis & Mitigation plan as part of new product development. . Tolerance stack-up analysis for complex assemblies • Coordinate vendors for Manufacturability check, RFQ’s & proto development & Testing. • Support for Documentation for Certifications (UL/ASME etc.,) Skills Needed: • Proficiency with Solidworks • Excellent mechanical aptitude and skills. • General familiarity with technology commonly used in manufacturing systems. • Must be able to develop new equipment from concept through launch. • Creative ability to conceptualize early on in a project • Basic knowledge of machining practices and how part tolerances affect machining requirements and cost. • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) • Knowledge of material properties (machinability, weldability, heat treatment, corrosion resistance, etc). • Requires proficiency in selection of materials and OEM components for functional requirement and adopt engineering principles and technologies during equipment/ machine constructions • Requires experience of engineering change managements, analyze and trouble shoot to problems occurred.
