As a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Zero T rus t Architectures, you can help build and enhance complex and diverse security and data–intensive systems. We're looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer that drives the implementation of a Zero T rus t infrastructure with data security controls, including enhanced Zero T rus t detection capabilities and improved event analysis, in large enterprises. You will also review, analyze, and architect Zero T rus t security configurations, designs, and solutions. In this role, you will drive the Zero T rus t security of some of the nation's most advanced, data–intensive systems. We need a Cybersecurity Engineer who will apply threat modeling te chn iques for developing custom–tailored Zero T rus t controls that apply to secure design and architecture methodologies for network, data, and application deployments and work to infuse Zero T rus t design principles across all pillars in a Zero T rus t model. You will support enterprise–wide, end–to–end Zero T rus t architecture projects involving cutting–edge te chn ologies and concepts, including cloud te chn ologies, enterprise identity, microservices, containers, encryption, tokenization, AI, ML, SIEM, SOAR, and threat modeling. You will help consult on Zero T rus t security te chn ologies, tools, and te chn iques and communicate the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. You Have: Experience with enterprise security architecture, including designing, building, and maintaining enterprise IT systems Experience defining security requirements, security assessments, and security recommendations using industry standards as reference models Experience with enterprise cloud systems Experience with build–out and lab environments and demo systems to replicate customer environments and real–world simulations Knowledge of best practice cybersecurity and threat–based cybersecurity frameworks and latest trends Knowledge of Federal environments and standards Top Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with solutions across Zero T rus t pillars Experience with data classification standards and controls in U.S. government environments and classified data handling Knowledge of U.S. security requirements related to regulations or standards, including NIST SP 800–171, 800–53, RMF, ISO 27001, or SOX Knowledge of Zero T rus t principles, frameworks, and implementation strategies Knowledge of end–to–end product or solution sets to implement Zero T rus t Ability to write and maintain te chn ical documentation, including reference architectures and implementation plans CISSP or Cloud+ Certification Forrester Zero T rus t Strategy Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract–specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
