Location: Chesapeake, VA
Pay: $18.00
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Overview of Warehouse Technicians
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Technician with over 3 years of forklift experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and fellow Warehouse Technicians to ensure that all outgoing materials are accurately entered into our computerized inventory control system (LX) while meeting established targets. This role is critical in maintaining our inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities of Warehouse Technicians
  • Accurately enter all outgoing materials into the LX system.
  • Confirm and audit shipments within the computerized system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory at all times by conducting cycle counts, performing required LX transactions, and staging items according to established procedures.
  • Comply with all company safety standards.
  • Actively participate in safety programs and advocate for safety in all operations.
  • Operate equipment such as Forklifts, Floor Scrubbers, Stretch Wrappers, Roll Clamps, etc. (3+ years of forklift experience required).
  • Generate system Bills of Lading through LX and Custom programs.
  • Load and brace trucks and containers for shipments.
  • Compile and file shipping paperwork.
  • Pick and stage products and materials for finishing.
Job Requirements of Warehouse Technicians
  • 3+ years of experience operating forklifts.
  • Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computerized inventory control systems, particularly LX.
  • Experience generating system Bills of Lading through LX and Custom programs.
  • Experience receiving and processing RMAs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with company safety standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to [insert weight].
  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
