HR Intern Job at ATC Automation in Cookeville

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, and compliance. You will work closely with HR professionals and contribute to creating a positive workplace culture.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Gain experience in numerous HR functions such as recruiting and HR operations.
• Support ongoing talent management processes including new employee onboarding, and employee development
• Maintain employee records and ensure accurate data
• Support implementation and execution of multiple employee events
• Collaborate with the HR Manager on new ideas and process improvements

• Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in relation to employee and company data
• Possess a high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to effectively plan and organize.
• Able to work under pressure and maximize efficiency.

You Have

• Education and Experience
  • High school diploma
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's in human resources, Business Administration, or related fields. (Preferred)
  • Prior internship (Preferred)
• Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Interpersonal skills
  • The ability to write and speak in a clear and concise manner.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
• Provide physical help with employee events including but not limited to carrying coolers, tables, chairs, speakers and other equipment
• Normal Office environment
• Visual acuity: Near acuity with or without accommodation.
• Hearing ability: Normal with or without accommodation
