Job Description
We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an HR Generalist in the manufacturing industry. The workplace is located in Memphis, Tennessee, 38127, United States.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the full cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires
• Utilizing Paychex software for various HR tasks such as monitoring hours worked and managing Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies
• Addressing and resolving employee conflicts and issues effectively
• Walking the floor to establish a visible HR presence and foster positive employee relations
• Managing Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests and procedures
• Conducting regular reviews of benefit functions to ensure they meet employee needs
• Maintaining open lines of communication with all employees, helping to build a positive work environment.
• Proven experience in Benefit Functions, including designing, evaluating and modifying benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively deal with various departments, seniority levels, and external stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Compliance laws and regulations related to HR and employment
• Experience in handling Employee Relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and performance improvement
• Proficiency in Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration and other related employment laws
• Experience with Paychex HR software for payroll, HR, benefits, and insurance management
• Proven track record in Full Cycle Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates
• Knowledge and experience in employee Onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organization
