Randstad USA is hiring: Production Equipment Supervisor in Kansas City

We are seeking a Production Equipment Supervisor for our Kansas City, MO print production facility! 

Pay rates up to $75k/ annually .Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 6 am to 6 pm

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience in the operation and repair of production equipment (min of 3 years in leadership role) Operation and repair of insertion and bindery equipment and/or electronic and electric circuit repair experience also a plus!

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Maintains and monitors the machines and the environment on the production floor to meet company standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime. 
• Build and perform minor repairs. 
• Oversee energy creation to power the machines, partnering with (Co-generation) outside energy groups
• Achieves goals through the work of others
• Management responsibilities include performance appraisals, pay reviews, training and development
• Job focus is on managing others and applying operational or strategic management skills
• Supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team
• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
• Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager
• Typically does not perform the work supervised

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or Technical/Trade School
• 5+ years’ experience and a proven proficiency in the operation and repair of production equipment.
• A proven proficiency in the operation and repair of insertion and bindery equipment, electronic and electric circuit experience necessary.
• Electrical and electronics repair is a plus.
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of reporting tools Jet/IQ
• Experienced in Microsoft Office.
• 3 years’ min. supervisory experience in a high volume production environment
