Infrastructure Engineer – Optimize IT Infrastructure for Growth

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure solutions for our client. In this role, you will ensure that the company’s infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure to support ongoing growth and evolving business needs. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments. Work with IT teams to ensure the infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and security. Implement system configurations, deploy updates, and manage backups to ensure data integrity and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, including hardware failures, network disruptions, and performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that infrastructure aligns with business goals and supports operational efficiency. Perform regular infrastructure maintenance, including system updates and patches, to maintain security and stability. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing. Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or outages. Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and trends to ensure the infrastructure is modern and competitive. Qualifications 3 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar IT infrastructure role. Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage solutions. Experience with operating systems, including Windows Server, Linux, and other common IT platforms. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with firewalls, security configurations, and compliance standards. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
