JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as but not limited to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings. Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems. Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all type of equipment. Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and Processes. Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques. Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes. Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations. Maintain production equipment. Perform facilities maintenance Other duties and responsibilities as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in related field of study (Mechanical/Mgf/Industrial Technology) 3-5 Years industry related experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, assembly and company operations, product lines and practices or equivalent. Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques Must possess strong analytical ability Strong written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS General experience working with SAP ERP Business System. Experience with production equipment programming Knowledge of AutoCad Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Knowledge of Pro E
